Our Hogmanay Hootenanny on the evening of the 31st will not be one to forget!
East Haugh House Hotel would like to welcome you to our Hogmanay celebrations in the heart of Highland Perthshire. Join us and fellow revelers for our famous celebrations. This years package has a 3 night minimum stay that allows you to relax ( and celebrate) while we deliver you an experience you will never forget. Arrive at your leisure and join us for a welcome cocktail served in the bar from 5.30pm followed by a delicious dinner, with a chance to meet your fellow revellers in the bar afterwards. Dinner on this evening will be chosen from our a la carte menu, with an allowance of £25.00 per person included in your room rate.
Full Scottish breakfast is from 8.30am - 10am.
The day is yours to do as you please. Perhaps take in the local scenery, visit a distillery, or encounter some Scottish wildlife at Highland Safari, Aberfeldy. Or even take to the slopes, snow permitting, at Glenshee, a 45 minute drive away.
Join us for a glass of champagne and canapes in front of the fire from 7pm followed by a decadent 5 course dinner served in our restaurant.
Dress code is preferably black tie for the gentlemen and evening dress for the ladies (and throw in a bit of tartan if the mood takes you!) After dinner, the restaurant is cleared to see in the New Year to the sound of Big Ben, and then it’s party time starting with some ceilidh dancing! We have been known in the past to have sledding races down the drive in full highland dress at 4am so expect a fun night!
1st January 2020
New Year’s Day brunch is from 10.30.am – 12pm with a glass of Bucks Fizz.
Weather permitting take a stroll into Pitlochry for the New Year’s Day street party from 1.00pm. It is great fun with live music and dancing!
Dinner will be served from 6pm – 9pm. Our full a la carte menu will be available, but will also feature a traditional roast of Aberdeen Angus beef with all the trimmings.
After dinner feel free to relax in our snug area or the Fisherman’s Bar for a hair of the dog! We have an extensive whisky selection one of our knowledgeable team members would be happy to guide you through.

Breakfast is from 9.00 – 11am with check out by 12.00pm.

Room types and packages:
Small twin room – Thunder & Lightning As it is one of our smaller rooms with restricted head height as it’s situated in the eaves of the hotel, this room is not suitable for anyone over 5’6”. Two single beds with a small en-suite bathroom, hand held shower only and it is not a full sized bath. Not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties as up 2 floors of a spiral stair case £900
Small double – Dunkeld - One of our smaller rooms, and although very welcoming and cosy, has slightly restricted head height as it’s situated in the eaves of the hotel. The room is not suitable for anyone over 5’6”. King size double bed with small en-suite bathroom, hand held shower only and it is not a full sized bath. £1050
Cosy classic rooms – Stoats Tail, Willy Gunn, Hairy Mary – Our classic rooms have either king or super king beds, which can also be made into twin beds. All are situated within the bothy building right outside the main hotel building, and one of these is dog-friendly. Pet charges apply. £1100
Superior rooms – Ally Shrimp, Katy Dee, Green Highlander - More spacious rooms with super king size beds which can be double or twin, and all are en-suite. One room is situated in the main building with a sofa bed seating area and the other two are in our bothy building right outside the hotel, one of which has an accessible walk-in shower. Two of these Superior rooms are dog-friendly. Pet charges apply. £1200
Four poster room with Jacuzzi bath – Dusty Miller - King deluxe four poster bed, large en-suite bathroom with double ended Jacuzzi bath. Situated in the main hotel building. £1300
Superior room with Jacuzzi bathroom – Jock Scott - King double bed, en-suite bathroom with luxury Jacuzzi bath. Situated in the main hotel building. £1300
Superior suite with movie room and Jacuzzi bath – Red Drummond - King double bed, large en-suite bathroom with luxury Jacuzzi bath and hand-held shower. Separate sitting room with fully stocked mini bar, 49" tv with DVD player and DVD’s. The movie room also has a comfortable sofa bed which can sleep 1 adult or two children (charges apply). £1600
Superior deluxe room with Jacuzzi bath and real open fire – East Haugh - This is what we call true relaxation. Our Superior Deluxe room has a king deluxe double bed with luxury mattress topper for extra comfort, and an en-suite bathroom with luxury double-ended Jacuzzi bath. What sets the Superior Deluxe apart is the beautiful real open fire place. So kick off your shoes, put your feet up and unwind. £1600
Gate Lodge: Private cottage situated about 250 meters from the main hotel (at the top of the driveway) Comprises of a dining kitchen, large Victorian style bathroom with roll-top bath and handheld shower, spacious living room with 49” smart tv, dvd player, gas woodburner and two bedrooms sleeping 4 people. Both bedrooms rooms have Victorian gas fires and can either be superking double’s or twins- one takes an extra fold down beds for children (charges apply). The cottage has full central heating and am excellent drying room. Private parking, garden and free wi-fi. £3000

Terms and Conditions
Payment: 50% of the booking is to be paid upon making your reservation. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival 21st November 2019
Cancellations: Cancellations made after the final payment will be charged in full. We do advise taking out holiday insurance to cover you against cancellations of your travels.
