Built originally as part of the Atholl Estate some 350 years ago, East Haugh House is a beautiful, turreted stone house situated off the old A9 road with beautiful woodland walks and easy access to Pitlochry town. Having bought the house in 1989, the McGown family converted it in to a small, very personally family run hotel, retaining many of the interesting features of the house. East Haugh House also took over a fishing beat on the river Tay 3 years ago which mean that guest’s can book a day’s Salmon fishing and catch that fish of a life time!

With 13 individually designed bedroom’s, including three deluxe four-poster room, one with its own fireplace and whirlpool bathrooms, along with 2 self-catering cottages, East Haugh House is hailed as one of Scotland’s “Hidden Gems” with the “best food in the area”
