    Wedding Treat
“As a wedding gift from a very good friend we had dinner here last week- the best restaurant venison I have ever eaten! Cooked to perfection, and we know because we do it pretty well ourselves at home! Nice staff and dining room. Many thanks for making it a very memorable evening.”

    A Gem of a Hotel
“Just to say how much we enjoyed staying with you over the last few days, the food was outstanding; the quality of the accommodation and service was fantastic. I've stayed in many great places around the world and eaten at some of the best restaurants and enjoyed the food and service more that at most of those places. You should be really proud of East Haugh House as you have created a real gem, you just need to tell more people about it.”

    Great Small Hotel
What a difference it was staying here rather than a bed and breakfast, and East Haugh House made that difference. From the earlier check in to the later check out and having facilities like the award-winning restaurant, bar, proper parking. East Haugh House couldn't have been more helpful where the B&B we had previously stayed in wanted us in late and out early with the minimum effort and you pay nearly the same rate. In future when I visit the Pitlochry Festival Theatre I will use this award-winning hotel over any of the pretentious B&Bs in Pitlochry. East Haugh House Hotel truly is Scottish hospitality at its best.”

    Delicious Dining
“Our room was very comfortable with a huge bathroom and lovely sitting area and, as promised, very quiet despite being situated near the A9. We were very warmly welcomed by Lesley, and later Neil, and were given a very comprehensive guide to the hotel. The bar, where we dined, was warm and cosy and dinner itself was plentiful, delicious and beautifully cooked. Breakfast was again very well cooked with lots of choices. We certainly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning and hopefully for more than one night next time.”

    Can’t Beat the Fishing!
“After fishing other beats over the previous six years, I would like to take the time to say that anyone thinking of either starting salmon fishing or trying a new water would find it near impossible to top the service of East Haugh House Hotel.
The team in the hotel headed by Neil, Lesley and Sophie are the best at what they do, and over the last year they have become great friends, even when I’m not fishing I’m in contact with them. They are honest, forthright and as friendly as they come, and nothing is too much trouble! The rooms are superb (I’ve practically stayed in every one), the food is to die for.  If it’s your first time fishing I cannot emphasise how great East Haugh is. Money and time well spent and I can’t wait to get back!”

    Hearty Thanks
“Firstly I would like to say a huge thank-you to everyone at East Haugh House. For the extremely friendly and courteous staff nothing was ever too much trouble. The quality of the rooms (especially the jacuzzi baths!!), the food… everything was just superb.”

    Brilliant Breakfast Service
“Even though we overslept and missed breakfast by an hour and a half, it was no problem for the staff who met us with a smile and soon we were enjoying a freshly-cooked full breakfast with tea and coffee. The staff were charming and willing and they even left us with an extra pot of tea in the dining room at 11.30am. Could anyone ask for more?”

    Superb Staff
“Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. The owners were on holiday and we'd really like them to know their temporary help did an outstanding job filling in. The food and atmosphere were fabulous! The staff were courteous, professional and very friendly. We will definitely stay again!!”

    Big Birthday Thanks
“Thank you for your hospitality during our recent stay for Andrew's 40th birthday over the Easter holiday. We all had the most wonderful time, the hotel was absolutely splendid and the food to die for (I am now on a diet!), but most of all the personal touch we received from you all was heartwarming - it's very obvious how rightly proud you all are of your achievements and that came across in the warm welcome you extended towards us.”

    Vegetarian Fare
“We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay with you. We particularly enjoyed the meal. We were told when I enquired about booking a room that your food was superb. I have to say that with the overuse of superlatives nowadays I wasn't getting overly excited but I have to say we were genuinely impressed. We both thought it was just the nicest meal we can remember. My wife is vegetarian and you did her proud with the deep-fried brie. She is often short changed on the vegetarian front, so she was particularly delighted.”

    Friends Recommended
“We very much enjoyed our stay at East Haugh House and have already told lots of friends about it. Our room was lovely - the real fire and amazing bath were fantastic. Other than that the two best things about the hotel were definitely the service (what a lovely family) and the food, which was consistently delicious. My only comment would be that I liked it much more than I thought I was going to after looking at the website which I don't think makes it clear how much better the place is from most average Scottish hotels."
