ANOTHER Trio of Awards for East Haugh
Following on the great successes achieved at the 2009 Awards, East Haugh has scooped another three major awards at the 2010 Scottish Hotel Awards.
Fishing Hotel of the Year for 2010
Restaurant – Special Commendation for the Two Sisters Restaurant
Sophie McGown - awarded a Gold Medal for Hospitality

Trio of Awards for Perthshire Hotel
East Haugh House Hotel in Perthshire is having a tremendous start to 2009 with three awards already under its belt.
The four star, turreted country house hotel, situated one mile south of Pitlochry, picked up ‘Scottish Fishing Hotel of the Year 2009’, and chef/proprietor Neil McGown scooped a Chef Medaille d'Or for Dinner Excellence, both at the prestigious Scottish Hotel Awards 2009.
These awards compliment their recent win of ‘Best Speciality Restaurant in Scotland’ at the beginning of the year at the 2009 Bank of Scotland Restaurant Awards. Other accolades include ‘Best Scottish Country Sports Hotel’ in 2005 and 2007.
Owners Neil and Lesley McGown are celebrating the 20th anniversary of East Haugh House Hotel so these awards have come at a very special time for their business.
Lesley said - “We are absolutely delighted to have won three awards in the space of 3 months! 2008 was our most successful year and although but we face our most challenging time yet going into 2009/10, we are confident that our continued focus and investment on delivering excellent customer service, exquisite food, first class accommodation and some of the best fishing/hunting in Scotland, will ensure existing and new customers continue to make East Haugh a ‘must go’ destination.”
