HOUSE MANAGER

Neil and Lesley's daughter, Sophie McGown took over the reins  as Hotel Manager some 6 years ago. Starting in "the industry" some  25 years ago as a toddler, she was brought up in the Hotel and Catering inductry along with  her sister Emma . It is understandable then how naturally she has taken to it, being trained under the watchfull eyes of her parents all these years.

 A keen fisherwoman and hunter herself, Sophie takes her  passion for sport  from her parents and is now very knowlegable and accomplished in both these fields - a great assett running a sporting hotel! 

Sophie's warm and funloving personality makes guests  feel very much at home whilst staying at East Haugh House . Nothing is too much  trouble  for her, she always goes that extra mile and is  one of the main reasons people return time after time to East Haugh House.
